Hello everyone!
Who needs a good laugh? I think we all do! These new Laugh Line sets from Art Impressions are sure to make you or someone smile. I'm using the Dance it Out set for the challenge #285 Make Me Laugh on the Art Impressions Blog.
I first stamped this ole' geezer on to Neenah 80lb Solar White card stock with copic friendly Gina K. Amalgam Ink. The Copic Marker colors I used will be listed down below. After coloring him up I did fussy cut him out. There are a few small nooks and crannies but it didn't take long. I did cut right up to the black line of the stamp image and then used a black marker to color the white edges. That way any fussy cutting mistakes will be less noticeable.
Before adding him to the card though I used a piece of blue card stock from Simon Says stamp and adhered that to a top fold A2 sized card base. Then I got out the Art Impressions Rounded rectangle dies and the Oval Dies. These will help me create a very simplistic scene.
I knew I wanted to use the sentiment "Over the hill and still running wild!". To tie it in with my card I used second to largest Rounded Rectangle die to die cut a piece of Neenah 80lb Solar White card stock. For the "hill" part I used a piece of green card stock and the largest Oval die After positioning where I wanted the green oval and the stamp image to be on the Rounded Rectangle die cut I used the same Rounded Rectangle die to die cut the green oval. That way the stitching detail would go all the way around this simple scene.
I layered and adhered the stamp image and die cuts together then attached to a the front of the card base. I used a Misti to stamp the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. ( I love this ink for sentiments)
The inside is simple but I had fun using the geezer image again and another of the fun sentiments.
