Hopping Bunny Interactive Spring Card | Art Impressions Challenge

Hey everyone! Today I have a fun card using the new Easter Bunny set from Art Impressions. There is also another one that is totally perfect for graduations! This card is for the challenge Spring Celebrations. Make sure you stop by the Ai blog and check out what the entire Design Team is up to using these new stamp sets.

This card is a interactive card. The cute little bunny is mounted to a small Action Wobbler so that he actually hops! I will have the list of Copic Markers I used down below.

I'm using a new card stock to color on today. I normally use Neenah 80lb but thanks to a crafty friend, I found out about Accent Opaque White 80lb, which is found on Amazon. So far I'm liking it and the price is fantastic!

For this card I did end up cutting the bunny stamp. Using my scissors I trimmed off the hop lines so that I could use them separately. I stamped the bunny using Gina K Amalgam Ink onto a piece of Accent Opaque White 80lb cardstock. After coloring the bunny with Copic Markers I fussy cut him out. I used one of the large banner dies and die cut a piece of that same 80lb card stock.

For the ink blending I used Gina K. Jelly Bean Green ink on the bottom. I was able to get a nice clean straight line by using a piece of masking tape. Just regular masking tape. I stamped the butterflies and bird then stamped those again on to Inkadinkado Masking Paper and fussy cut those. I place the masks over the top of the butterflies and bird so that I could ink blend the background. I used a cloud stencil with Ocean Mist ink and a makeup blending brush. Since I had the ink blending supplies out I went ahead and used another stencil with Gina K. Designs Sweet Corn ink over the Circle Illusion stencil. This will be adhered behind the banner scene die cut.

Once the ink blending was done I removed the masks and colored in the little stamped images with Copic Markers. With Versafine Clair Nocturne ink I stamped the sentiment and the hop lines. The hop lines are the part of the stamp that I had previously trimmed off the bunny stamp. For the background I used adhered a piece of matching coral paper to a A2 top fold card base. Then attached the Circle Illusion stenciled piece to that and adhered the rest of the scene on top. For my final touch I adhered a couple of Mushroom Sprinkles with liquid glue.
