Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder | Art Impressions #275 Give it away challenge

Hey everyone! Today is the Art Impressions second week of the Give it away challenge #275. For this one we are using some of the new gift card dies! For this card I used the Coffee gift card holder and the Small Alphabet stamp set.

I"m not really happy with the color combination of this one but the coffee cup is super cute. I like that you can make it a gift card holder or just use it as a large die cut. Lots of possibilities.

Card Stock: Neenah 110lb Solar White, Papertrey Ink Scarlet Jewel, Melon Berry, Autumn Rose
Ink: Versafine Clair Nocturne

I used a die cutting machine and the card stock listed above, to cut all of the pieces out for the coffee cup. There are so many different dies that you can use to embellish your cup. I chose the sleeve, one of the two hearts and the adorable stamp that you can customize for many different occasions.

A few tricks I found are to die cut the lid and inner gift card holder pieces twice. It's easier to adhere one holder piece between the two cup lids then attach the second one over top, just below the lid. The front holdier die cut will be a little longer but you can easily fit the gift card through the die cut diagonal slots.

The background
Stamps: Art Impress Small Alpahabet
Stencils: Tim Holtz Coffee Stain
Ink: Distress Oxide Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
        Versafine Clair Nocturne
Card Stock: Brutus Monroe Lunch Bag

The background was easy. I just used a stencil and two different Distress Oxide inks. I wanted the sentiment on the front to be a little crooked and messy. The front of the card says "Life is messy" and the inside the says "coffee helps".

A few extra things I did to embellish the coffee cup further is to add white gel pen highlights in the lid. I also used the Scrapbook. com sparkle pen on the hearts and glossy accents over the top of the hearts and gel pen lines.

Thank you for joining me today!
Happy stamping.
