Art Impressions Challenge Use Circles | NEW Snowman Wheelie

Hey everyone!

Today on the Art Impressions blog we are showcasing the new Wheelie stamp sets for the challenge Use Circles. I love these wheelie sets and this Snowman is so fun! I like that Art Impressions added in a string of lights stamp and as always the sentiments are cute.

For this card I used the Snowman Wheelie set, which includes the main image stamp, the accessory stamps like the leg parts, single wheel a string of lights and 3 different sentiments. The set also includes brads and numerous dies. I do have a video showing how to put one of these together here.

For all the coloring, I used Copic markers on Neenah Solar White 80lb card stock, with Gina K. Designs Jet Black amalgam ink. There is a list below of the colors I used.

I used one piece of the Neenah solar white cardstock to stamp all of my images and then trimmed this one down to 3.5in X 4.75in. I've been using the Heidi Swapp Wolfpack paper pad on and off. I keep finding new uses for it. The moon is die cut out of one of the pattern papers in that paper pad. I also used the starry pattern and those really cool large gray toned strips.

After I adhered the starry sky paper and stripes to a A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb card base, I started die cutting. Using the included dies for the wheel, leg parts and the turn mechanism for the inside. Then die cut through the front of the card base and the attached pattern paper. I run it through my die cutting machine several times which works for me and my machine, there are some that find it easier to use a metal shim. Several companies do make those.

I like that their are very clear directions on the back of the packaging for each one of these wheelies. Plus, once you put one together, I know from experience, the second one is a lot easier! So I'll let the video explain how to die cut and put this together.

Here is a picture of the inside which includes a Stamp Village stamp for the sentiment. I thought it fit pretty well. The turn stamp and the sentiment on the front are both heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder.

The string of lights stamp does not have a coordinating die, so I just fussy cut it out then cut it in half and added it to the back of the snowman's bicycle seat.
