Animal Print Challenge #261 With Art Impressions Wine Divas

Hey guys welcome back! Today I'm sharing my card I made for the Art Impressions Design Team inspiration for Challenge #261 Animal Print. <--- Just click to join in! As you can see, I colored the ladies chair with Copics in an animal print pattern. I had such a fun time coloring the animal print. It is actually super easy. I usually go in with a light tan (E31) first. Then I add the half circles, squiggles and small dots with a dark gray or black (W9). A burnt orange color (YR27) is added to the centers of the half circles and randomly dotted through out the coloring. For this one I also add some shading in the chair with YR23 and E35.

Red and cheetah are pretty classic together so I went with that combination.  I wanted the background to have some glitz, so I used Hero Arts Wave Stencil, with Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Once the gel was dried I used a transfer foil, and ran that through a laminator. This heats up the Transfer Gel, so that the foil only sticks to that, creating a foiled background. I did this on regular cardstock, specifically Papertrey Inks Rustic Cream.

Another thing from Thermoweb that I used was some of the Green Envy Transfer Flock sheets. You can transfer these flock sheets just like you can with the foil, but I chose to just die cut the flock sheets with an Art Impressions Oval Double Stitch die. Placing it underneath the chair,  turns that flock die cut in to a textured rug! I use to have a green rug in my living room, I loved the pop of color.

For the inside I used Gina K's Red Velvet ink with one of the fantastic sentiments that come in this set. The other image is from the same Wine Diva's set which I stamped with a Warm Cocoa ink. I, also, added a cork die cut of a star, just because a wine card has to have some kind of cork on it, in my opinion lol. I love using cork for texture! The star die is from the Art Impressions Tag Double Stitch die set. I also used a small heart die from the Lawn Fawn Hedgehugs set. My favorite small heart die shape. I used the same inks as I did for the sentiments on the front of the card as I did with the inside.

I really like all the texture on this one! Plus the simplified scene was fun to create. I hope you like it also. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you enter into this fun Animal Print challenge.
