Hey everyone! Welcome back to another Christmas Card series. Today I'm showing you more of the cards that I made along with the one that I entered into the Color Throwdown Challenge. Link to that post here.
Watch video here.
I'm really loving the darker colors in these 8 designs but that is totally my aesthetic. So let me know in the comments what your favorite colorway for these are!
I'm definitely glad that I have a stamp positioning tool. I couldn't imagine trying to do this with out it. For one thing I was able to stamp an image several times if I didn't ink it up correctly. Secondly, it just makes mass production so easy.
Another thing is that I was able to stamp multiple snowflakes at the same time and then emboss them using one of the many colors of embossing powder. I know a lot of long time stampers probably did this with just an acrylic block. But I sure am thankful that it is so much easier now with these newer tools.
I really enjoyed using all these embossing powders. That Black Sparkle embossing powder by Ranger is my everything. I just can't get over how gorgeous it is.

But the Soft Navy cardstock from Simon is so pretty and paired with the Mermaid & Gold embossing powder is stunning. I'm so glad I have that Mermaid embossing powder from a past Simon Says Stamp card kit! Hooray! It just has an amazing blue color with tons of sparkle.
Red though is truly my favorite color (if you think black isn't a color HA!) I just love the depth of the Black Soot Distress Oxide ink around the School house red cardstock. Plus it's paired with the gold and black sparkle embossing powder. Also I really like the pop of green on both of these.
Alright, I had so much just playing around with these. Before attempting to make all these I drew out a color map of the cardstock, embossing powders and stamps that I thought would look best together. So this was not a fly a the seat of my pants kind of mass production. I thought about all these lol.
