Hey Everyone! Today I have a "use my stash" kind of card. Some of the main products are hard to find but you could easily reproduce this with different brand items. This is some simple stamping with an added punch of my favorite way to use gold embossing powder.
Watch the video here.
The first thing I did was stamp the deer head with the wood grain design. I used a tone on tone technique for this that gave the deer a bit of texture. Then I stamped the second layer which has the stitched/ word design using Versafine onyx black ink, then clear heat embossed it. The banner was white embossed on to black cardstock and then I hand cut it out. The only die that came with this set is for the deer which I used to cut out the stamped deer image. While also using the same die to cut some white fun foam to pop up the stamped image.
The wood grain layer is a piece of pattern paper from Simple Stories Claus & Co. I started stamping the foliage stamp from the Hampton Arts set with Distress Oxide Ink around the Mint cardstock's outer edge. When I finished that I trimmed that piece down to 4in x 5.25in. I used the same small foliage stamp and ink to stamp a couple of foliage bunches on the wood pattern paper. This will be covered by the label die cut. I used a Spellbinders label die with slate cardstock then gold embossed the edges to layer behind the deer.
After all that I just had to layer and adhere everything together. For the inside I used another piece of the Mint cardstock and a "Merry Christmas" Stampendous stamp.
Below is a supply list I have compiled for your use. All links below are affiliated links. By clicking on the below links you will be redirected to that product page. If you decide to purchase a product I list this will not increase the amount you pay and I will only receive a very small percentage of the sale price. Thank you so much for visiting and I appreciate you!
