Today I'm showing you a couple of cards that I made using products from the Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit. I made two cards again using two very different alcohol ink backgrounds and the lovely large sketch flower image from the stamp set.

More information below.
So first I started with the background using the Simon Says Stamp Yupo paper that came in the kit. I really thought that this paper was comparable to other brands I have used and the inks really moved over the plastic paper. The darker panel is made with only Pitch Black ink and the other has a combination of several. Below is a list for all the products used. I added foil using the scrap pieces from the foil mates card I made in the last video. This was a lot of fun and I was very excited to finally be able to do this. First time doing this technique and it definitely will not be my last!
For the large sketched flowers stamp I heat embossed it on Simon Says Black cardstock with white embossing powder and again on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder. Then fussy cut the flowers out. Once that was done I ran all those pieces through my big shot with a rectangle stitch die and layered the embossed flower images over the top of the alcohol ink background. This is so pleasing because the stitches left from the die will match up.
Using a Fog and slate cardstock A2 card panel I used the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set and heat embossed using the same embossing inks and powders as before. I created a corner sentiment by using two phrases from the sentiment together.
Then I just layered all those pieces together on a couple blank card bases. Easy but definitely fun to play around with different colors.
