A Little Monster Pun | Copic Coloring

This is my entry for the Witt & Sass Design Team spot. Amy has some freebies that she posts on the Witt & Sass Facebook page. For this one there were 4 different images but I just this cute monster because I wanted to use the pun "Frankly, I'm glad we're friends." 😄

I used A LOT of Copic markers to color with, I have the ones used listed below. After coloring the monster image I fussy cut him out and then inked the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. Taking a white card front I die cut the scalloped circle out. Then did a blend of distress oxide inks on the circle cut out. I adhered the ink blended circle to a card base.

I layered a piece of vellum behind the card front with the circle die cut. Using liquid glue I adhered the monster to the right of the circle and cut out the letters to spell "frankly". For the rest of the sentiment I used a Witt & Sass stamp from Magical Creatures. Using copics to color the bottom half a light tan with a strip of purple at the very bottom. Final touches; add purple sequins to the top left, use a glitter pen on the "Frankly" and glossy accents over the top and also some glossy accents and white gel pen on the monster.

Ta Dah!
