Ok if you don't like heat embossing then this is definitely not the card for you! 😂

So my fabulous mother in-law gave me this Archival Brilliance ink. I didn't really know what to expect from it but the shade of it is called Platinum Planet. I was going to use clear embossing powder on the black cardstock for a tone on tone look but I'm very happy that I went this route. As you can see the Archival ink is a beautiful silver color. I think it is so pretty. Now I had a hard time finding it on sites that I normally buy from (no links below for it) so I'm not sure if this certain color is discontinued but there are other ones to choose from. I bet they are all just as pretty.
I used the Modern rose background stamp and the Archival ink to stamp an entire A2 Simon Says Stamp Black cardstock panel. This was a left over piece from something else. I also heat embossed this panel with clear embossing powder. Not a necessary step.
Then I used the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Pop Up card die for the windows on the black panel. I only used 3 of the square/rectangle layering dies that come with the Pop Up card die. If you have this die it is a easy way to get that multiple window look with out having to buy another die. Ya know versatile is my jam, right?! 😁
After cutting out those windows I used the black panel to pencil in guidelines on a piece of Neenah solar white. I'm using the Mandy's Flowers stamp set for inside the windows. I stamped these 3 images with Distress Oxide ink (Candied Apple, Peacock Feather, Wilted Violet). Then I heat embossed those. The Distress Oxide inks emboss really well and they are very vibrant. I use these a lot instead of investing in multiple colors of embossing powders.
Now I can layer my top panel over the white cardstock. There are some thin areas of the frame so I use a combination of my ATG and liquid glue.
I also heat emboss the sentiment. This is a combination of 2 of the sentiments in the Mandy's Flowers set. But I used only the "picked" word from one of them. That way I could have 2 fonts. I layer the panel on to a Neenah card base and color in just the flowers with a glitter pen. (More shine is ok!)
Then I pop up the sentiment with some foam adhesive circles. The inside I stamped with the candied apple Distress oxide ink again but didn't emboss it this time and I also masked off the lower portion of the stamp. Then I took one of the negative pieces from the black window panel and adhered that below the flowers. I was going for a pretty floral container.... I think it looks a little odd but I'm going with it; it's cohesive.
