I stamped the 3 flower pot images in VersaMark and then embossed in gold on a bright white heavyweight watercolor paper. I've seen a lot of chalk painted/ coated mason jars during the seasons so I thought I could get a similar effect with Distress Oxide inks because of their pigment chalky behavior. Which turned into a lovely faded rainbow of watercolor.
The background pattern paper is from the August Kit and I darkened it with 2 colors of Distress oxide. Using another pattern paper (wood grain) from a past Simon Says Stamp card kit. I cut long rectangles then adhered those pieces to a heavyweight white cardstock for stability. I trimmed the edges and adhered those to the scripty background then placed one of the 3 flower arrangements on each shelf. The tall one I cut down so that it would fit a A2 envelope.
For the second card I went a more modern direction. I used the background stamp from the kit to clear emboss on to a light gray card panel. Then I stamped the circle flower image in a Copic friendly ink, that way I could do a quick alcohol marker blend of color in red and greens on the flower image. (Keeping to the Color Throwdown challenge colors, linked below)
I also used a VersaMark pen to color the ring of the image so that I could emboss just that in silver. Then stamped the sentiment, also I had to fussy cut this image out. I took a darker gray cardstock and cut that down with a rectangle stitch die then cranked that through my die cut machine with a geometric embossing folder. I stacked all those elements on to a white card base and added glittery dark gray sequins. (I guess I do like sequins Haha). I tried to do a bow with the twine but I didn't like how it was turning out so I changed it up in to a more geometric wrap.
