I used Distress Oxides and the Tim Holtz stamp platform to stamp out the Lawn Fawn alphabet letters down a strip of white cardstock. Then I used a scallop stitch border die to add a little detail to the opposite side of the stamping. That piece is layered over a small strip of black and white striped pattern paper. So visually pleasing how the black stripes lined up with the words! Total accident, by the way. lol Then all that is layered on to a piece of lighter gray cardstock cut with a stitch rectangle die.
For the card base I used one of my already cut and scored bases and splattered distress oxide ink in Black Soot with a water brush. For some reason my black soot ink pad is very dry.... ugh so frustrating. I'm sure it was my fault and I didn't put the lid on correctly. Definitely need that series reinkers now!
I used a dark gray cardstock to layer over the card base and then attached the piece with the moms to that. To add on the Hi at the bottom I used white heat embossing on a scrap piece of dark gray cardstock and Lawn Fawn alpha stamps again. I used my atg gun to adhere it and tucked it under the scallop piece. Then to finish it off I added some shimmer to the scallops and topped it off with glossy accents.
