I've used planners for 4 years in a row now. I really can't run the financial side of the household with out it.
Now there are soooo many people out there that buy these planners and decorate them. It is a style, it is a pretty way to plane and the stickers, clips, dashboards and all the ideas you can find are extraordinary. That is just not the way I can plan though. I tend to gravitate towards things that are easy, quick and pretty enough.
I first got the Erin Condren Life Planner, it was something so unique and I hadn't seen anything quite like it before. But after the awww of it I finally realized it was just too much. The Deluxe Monthly Planner is what I have been using for a few years and is just enough for me.
The top picture is the cover I chose.
These planners have a dot page before the monthly spread. I actually, rarely use this but it has come in handy.
This is the monthly spread that I use the most. I like to use the stickers that it comes with and write out bills and place it on the day it is due.
This is the page after the month spread. Mainly I use these 2 pages to write out how much the bill amount is etc. Grocery list is great way to use it also.
The sticker page towards the back are the ones I use. I write on them with my favorite (at the moment) black pen. I make each month a different color to add variety.
Back file pocket
I use this for extra stickers I might have.
Last year I got the "Always a Reason and Season to Celebrate" sticker book. So I changed it up for 2018.
It's just enough decorating to cure my need and want to do it but it's so easy and quick.
These are great for birthdays or special day reminders on the Montly Spread calendar.
Just more stickers in the booklet.
I also have the notebook which I bought for my craftroom to write down ideas. Watch for sales for these that make them cheaper.
Lined pages with a to list area on the right.
Alright that was a lot of pictures to go through! That is my setup for 2018 bills. Nothing fancy but fancy enough and the best part, it works for me. However you plan is great as long as it helps!
