Leaves on a branch| Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils

Sketched this image of a leafy branch while my little family was out on a camping trip in Eastern Wa. Last trip for us for the winter. It has gotten cold her pretty quick it seems this year.

For this image I did some basic shading and coloring. I picked up a Lemon Yellow (PC915) Prismacolor colored pencil from Michaels and used that as the main highlight for the center of each leaf. I received my set of Prismacolored pencils for Christmas one year, the 48pc set. I'm slowly finding more colors that I don't have and adding to my collection. I may have a small case of full set syndrome but I enjoy the process of finding a new one or two that I would like to use.

I forgot to use the blending pencil to go over the entire image with. I think it helps with the shine that the wax causes. You can see it slightly in the photo above.
